Scrapbook Ex Weekend

Thought I would just highlight some fun things we did in and around the convention...

Jenny and I caught the early flight to Joburg on Friday. Once we checked into our room, Amanda picked us all up and we heading out to this great awesome restaurant called Tashas in Morningside, the food and Strawberry Daiquiris are too die for...

After lunch, we headed in the direction of Monte Casino for coffee (with wings) at Starbucks, what a great way to end lunch and snap a few happy photos.

Then it was on to Design Quarter for a spot of shopping and photo developing for Jenny. Also popped into Tiffany's Scrapbook shop, very pretty Tiff...♥

As the day was drawing to a close...it was time to catch the Gautrain back to the airport, then the shuttle back to our hotel. All I can say, that was the fastest way I spent R100...we could not stop laughing like a bunch of silly girls on the train, people thought we were mad, but who cares!

Saturday, was off to an early start with registration and then classes began...

Finally got to meet up with Michelle IRL, was great having you share our table with us and I promise to visit Parys one day...♥

After the 1st day's classes it was time for the Charity Scrap. We all had bought a kit, with the proceeds going to charity and had to scrap it in 2 hours for the competition. Amanda's LO got a Honorable mention (big up GF)...well done to all of you!

Then it was time for dinner and we headed out to Col Cacchio, the best Italian place around...their food is mind blowing and super delicious. Needless to say, we ate drank way too much...Cocktails and shooters were the order of the day. Boy, did we laugh a lot, Belma had us in stitches (I can still clearly remember the Springbok Hop)...lol

Emperors Palace was hosting the Miss Earth SA Finalists, so Tracy and I decided to pose and have some fun, thanks Belma for being our photographer...what good laughs....♥

Sunday, was another full day of awesome classes. All the teachers were super friendly and Nic got us to sing Happy Birthday to her DH who turned 40 on Sunday...too funny! If you have not already hop on over to her awesome blog to read about their encounter with a Hadida...almost peed my pants ♥

Then, Jenny and I headed out to the airport for our late flight back to Durban, had dinner at Ocean Basket, was now ready to get back home to my loved ones and my own bed...

Hop on over to Amanda's beautiful photography blog, for more fun photos of us from the weekend...

The whole weekend in total, was totally rocking with lots of laughter and fun. We got very spoilt by Glenda and her amazing team, yet once again (will reveal after Cape Town have had theirs)...so watch this space!
