Hi, I’m Sophia Allison. I have reached that age, where they say life begins at 40, which I think is really true. Married to my loving and supportive husband Murray for almost 13 years. We have 2 beautiful girls Amy (10 years) and Chloe (6 years), they are my inspiration to scrapbook. 

I am born and bred in Durban, South Africa, a little city along the coastline. I am a huge fan of pasta food, and love drinking Iced coffees (wish we had a Starbucks here in our hometown). 

I had always been a keen card-maker, until my sister-in-law introduced me to the world of Scrapbooking in October 2001. I went for my first class at a local craft shop in November and you could say I had been bitten by the Scrappin Bug and am now hooked! When my husband and I had started to think about starting a family, the birth of my daughter motivated me to create a legacy to leave behind for her one day. As well as it being a hobby that I can actually loose myself in! 

My style….. well I don’t know that I have one, as my layouts range from simple to shabby to heritage and I am not afraid of colour or stretching my comfort zone. I try to keep as much focus on the photo`s - sometimes my style changes with the wind but I guess that is creativity for you. I love working with bold and vibrant colours and patterns.
