Quaint place for lunch

After the girls swim lessons, we decided to eventually try out Hai.bo restaurant near Greyville. Had a Groupon voucher that was about to expire...

I have to say we were pleasantly surprised..the atmosphere was relaxing, with vibey music playing in the background.

You could choose to sit in the front, upstairs or even at the back, if you wanted to be a bit more private.

It reminded me of a little restaurant in Mozambique...

The toilets each had a different themed wall papering effect, which I thought was very unique and fun.

We ordered the girls a chip bowl each, only to find it was more like a giant bowl of chips...which they loved!!!

Murray and I ordered the same starter, calamari served on a bed of mash with a peri-peri sauce. All I can say the calamari cooked to perfection. My mains was chicken breast served with quacamole and a side salad, very delicious.

The attention to detail in the food presentation is tops, certainly a place I would pay another visit to again.

I leave you with a few highlights of our enjoyable lunch...

  1. Your girls are gorgeous and those chip bowls are definitely bigger than they are.
