Home at last

Back home...finally!!! Sorry for giving you all a scare, was not my intention, you only imagine what DH went through. What was went to be a simple in and out surgery with no cuts, now leaves with with a rather huge cut, but grateful to be alive. I was 1st up for surgery, all went well, by late afternoon when Doc came to check on me I was was white as the pillow case, which meant internal bleeding, was rushed back to theatre, cut open to find the bleeding artery, which they did. Had to be topped up with 4 pints of blood later, due to loosing so much. All I can say is I am grateful to be back, although will be about 6 weeks recovery, so not sure how much I will be on here with all the resting...thanks for all the well wishes means a lot...

Just goes to show how short life can be, treasure every minute...It was a close call for me, but I think I have still much to do here...thank the angels watching over me.

Leave of absence

Just for a few days, while in hospital...so just wanted to let my blog readers know, in case you wondered what happened to me.

I have to have a scheduled hysterectomy, due to a prolapsed uterus.

So, I go in bright and early tomorrow morning and I will be in very good hands, Dr Martin at Westville Hospital is wonderful, he delivered my girls too...

All going well, I should be back home by Thursday or Friday, then some much needed bed rest as per Doc's instructions...

Have bought some books to read, and also Murray has some chick flicks ready for me.

Murray will be doing all the school runs and shopping and swimming lessons etc etc etc, but I know he will do just great, he is a wonderful father...♥

So, until then...I will catch with you all soon! Off to pack my bag for hospital and get to bed for an early start...

New Monthly Challenge

Over at the IMAGINISCE blog...now who does not love a challenge, I certainly do...

We have a wonderful new challenge for you this month with a sketch and a monochromatic theme.

The wonderful sketch has been designed by our very own DT member Aphra Bolyer

 and to add a little bit of fun we decided to challenge you all to using a monochromatic colour scheme.Now, we won't be too strict so you can use different shades of the same colour and perhaps a bit of white or black here and there. Don't forget to use atleast 75% of Imaginisce products to be eligible for the prize.You have until July 25 to upload your entry in the Link at the bottom of this post!
