Weekend catch up & some LOs

We had quite a hectic weekend...

Saturday morning, we had to meet with Father Noel from out church, in regard to chatting and filling in of forms for Chloe's baptism.

In the afternoon, we dropped Chloe off at Murray's folks, Amy was already there.

Then it was off to Uta & Clinton's wedding. Clinton's family and mine have been friends forever.
The ceremony was at the Marianahill Monastery, what an awesome, rustic little church. Then it was off to the reception at Durban Country Club, they same place we got married, so it brought back loads of memories for us...

I must say the wedding was a beautiful one with lots of tears being shed, thanks Denise...you really know how to get to us.

At the church...

Table decorations...

First dance...

Cutting of the cake...

Murray and I...

Yours truly...

Clinton, with his folks Annette and Terry Hill...

Denise and Warren...

Denise, her daughter Taz and I...

Sunday, we relaxed at home, as Murray had way too much work to finish of for Monday. I did a little bit of scrapping for some challenges.

My publication of my win in Scrapbook & Cards Today...

Here are some LOs for some of the April challenges over at Making Memories For You.

Here are some cards I made from Kelly's March Big Juicy kit.

Got some scrappy mail from Ally in Canada, for a RAK I won off her blog...woohoo, got to love happy scrappy mail.

Now onto a funny little story. The so called DT kit of mine for Making Memories For You that I was meant to get in March to create with for uploading 1st April, never pitched up until today.

Here is the story...

OMG, never a dull moment in Africa as I said...what were the odds of this happening!!!

I got a parcel slip collection today and it had Kelly as the sender on there (which meant it had to be my DT kit), so I got in my car as fast as I could to go and collect it from the PO.

Now this is were it gets good as you see by the picture below it ended up going to South-West Africa (Namibia) and not South Africa, that is a big difference. No wonder I was waiting for this baby so long...it got there on the 17th March, so I would have got in time, just that it landed up somewhere else.

So, thank goodness it is here and I can get started on my stuff...so relieved....WOOHOO!!!

Here is a sneak peak below...obviously this is for the 3 months and seeing it is altered items, you will be seeing them in drips and drabs on here, once completed.

Catch you all later...
