20 March, 2008

I guess it's time for some more news

Well, today being the 20th March, our baby girl Chloe is 4 months old. Can you believe it, why does time have to fly so fast?

She has been an absolute angel so far and is always so happy and just loves to smile and chat to us (baby talk, of course), but it is just too precious for words.

I have started trying a little bit of rice cereal with her at lunchtime, and she seems to take a few mouthfuls, but then she demands her milk. So, I think slowly, but surely she will start to get the hang of it.

She is starting to try and swing her legs over from being on her back to try and get onto her tummy, but just manages to go slightly to the side and then rolls back again. I doubt it will take her long before she masters that trick. Although, I have to say that Amy had already mastered that trick at this age...Chloe is a bigger and heavier baby, maybe that is why it is taking her longer.

Amy got the cutest Bunny purse from my friend Frankie, in America. She totally loves it so much that she had to take it to school today and show off...so typical of a child, but sweet. Also when you press his paw it says "some Bunny loves you". The photo just says it all, such excitement when seeing what was in the box...

It was Amy's Easter Parade at school today and they all had to wear some form of Easter hat. So yours truly made her an Easter hat with all the trimmings as you can see below, she really looked cute with it on and was quite proud of it. We were invited to her school this morning to hear them sing Easter songs and parade for us...she looked darling.

Here she is with her best friend Emma (white bunny outfit) and Rachel to the right.

Amy's school also closed today for the Easter holidays, so she will be at home with me and Chloe for a while, so going to have to keep her entertained for the next couple of weeks. I'm sure we can plan a couple of outings out to Granny's in Durban North for tea and we will see what else comes up...

I have been a bit creative with LOs for some challenges over at Making Memories For You.

This one was for my challenge I held on the weekend crop. They all had to use the title Expressions on their LO.

Then another for a challenge I took part in called Blind Scrap Lift, it was so interesting to do this one, all we got given was step by step of what we had to do, then everyone revealed their interpretation of the LO.

This was for my March week 2 challenge, using pastel colours.

Just to make things a little easier for you, if you look to the left hand side of my blog you will see a place where you can subscribe to my blog as to when I update it with new posts, so go ahead and put your email in and subscribe, it will make it a lot easier for you, no need to keep checking if I have posted or not.

We have a pretty busy and full weekend planned and my folks have just arrived at our home. So will get back in touch after the long weekend.

I wish you and your family a Blessed Easter, don't eat too many chocolate bunnies now...

  1. I can't believe Chloe is 4 months already. She is really a cute baby and looks so much like Amy. This is a relly nice age when they start doing things and discovering themselves.

The pictures of Amy and her parcel say exactly how she was feeling! You can certainly see her delight at her gift - what a cute bunnie.

I just love her hat - she really does look quite a little madam!

    Have a great Easter.

    Regards
