What a Scare

Woke up this morning at 2h40am with the most excruciating pain in my lower abdomen on the right side. I could hardly stand up straight to walk to the bathroom.

Finally hubby and I decided he was going to take me to the hospital, as we were scared it was my appendix (sorry about spelling). Packed the 2 girls into the car, made a mad dash to the In-laws to drop them off, then back to Westville Hospital to see what my pain was.

Managed to give them a urine sample, and when the Doc came to check on me, he prodded various places down below to make sure what the problem was...

He finally told us not to worry, it was not my appendix, but from the urine sample he found that I had a very bad bladder infection. Gave me 2 injections, one antibiotics and one pain killer. Which would last till morning, when I could get my prescription filled.

Hubby dropped me back at home to sleep, as it made me dozy, then he went to his folks to fetch the girls. Thank goodness it was nothing worse, like having an op to remove my appendix...

On a lighter note...

We met some friends at Duck & Deck for lunch and let the kids walk around and feed the farm animals. Amy loves going here, as she gets her pony rides.

Got me some happy mail yesterday.

On the creative side, I finally finished my LO for these cute picks of Travis & Amy at my brother, Henri's wedding.

Need to get ready, as we off to a Lamb on the Spit braai this afternoon, need some rest before we go...
