Busy, Busy Weekend

This was just one of those hectic weekends again.

Friday night we were invited to Sonja & Aidy's place for braai. It was great to catch up with them, as we have not seen them in a while. Kiara has grown so much, and has come a long way since her op at 6 weeks, but she is looking so well. Thanks for a great time and tell Aidy's mom her Pavlova was to die for...yummy!

Saturday my mom came down for the weekend, and I took her to the Pavilion to go and get a few things she needed. Then we just relaxed at home after that, until Chris came to fetch her to take her to his place.

Sunday, Dad got us up and early and took us to Amarula Coffee Shop, for a light breakfast and some playtime for Amy on the jungle gym for a while and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air...

Then later that afternoon it was off to Chris & Mary-Anne's place for their second son, Jared's 1st birthday party. Amy had a great time playing with her cousins and it was an afternoon well spent together with family; and lots of delicious goodies to eat.

Well, it is now time to get to bed and get some much needed rest for work tomorrow.
