Busy weekend just flew by...

It has been a hectically busy weekend.

Saturday, Murray decided to surprise Amy and I, by taking us to the Pietermaritzburg Zoo. It is nothing to compare to the Pretoria Zoo, but it has improved slightly and it was more of an outing away from home and for Amy to see the animals...which she loved!!!!

Just some highlights from our Zoo trip...battling to upload some other photos, so these will have to do for now.

On the way back, we decided to stop off at the Rob Roy Hotel for lunch. The views from the terrace is certainly spectacular; with the Valley of the 1000 Hills in the distance, my photo does not do it justice.

As, for Sunday, we spent the day at Desire's home, packing our kits for the upcoming Scrapathon on Saturday 29th July, a day before my birthday. Everything is looking so beautiful with our awesome colour scheme we have chosen. I am so dying to let you all have a sneak peek, but you will have to wait until after the weekend is over. Then, I will post the layout that I did for the day; as well as some photos of fun. Desire took some great photos of our group on Sunday with all our attire, but that is to be another post altogether.

My Mom, is due to be coming down to spend a week with Chris and Mary-Anne, and their new baby Jarred this weekend. So, we are holding thumbs that he will be released from hospital.

- off to bed, goodnight.
